Registration For The 2021 Season
While we are hopeful that we will be able to offer a 2021 season of Minor Ball, we are not opening registration at this time.
We miss all of our Spartan families, and hope you have been keeping well. We are certainly hopeful that as we move towards spring we will be able to put together a season for our children. However, at this time we are not opening registration. Here are some things you should know:
At this time, we do not have insurance. We are hopeful that insurance will be available to us as we approach the spring. Without insurance we are not able to host any events.
Current public health safety measures prohibit us from holding in-person registration at this time.
We will need confirmation on allowable gathering numbers from the County as we move towards spring to determine the feasibility of holding practices & games.
We will follow the guidelines put forth by Softball Ontario in determining whether and how a season will run.
We will also require confirmation and guidance from the leagues we play in (FMSA, SOSL & Haldimand Erie Fastball League) on whether we will be able to move forward with team play.
We DO have uniforms as they were ordered for last season and then we weren't able to use them. That means in the event the season is a go we will be able to register players and set up teams fairly quickly.
While we wait for these and many other variables to be resolved, we wish you all the best. These are difficult times, and particularly hard on our children who are used to having opportunities for activity and team play that are simply not possible right now. It is our sincere hope that this is behind us by the start of the season.
